Doomed!

One of the things that I've seen several bloggers posting at one point or another is the old thing of 'where do bloggers find the time?' They have a point you know. Its harder then it seems!

Today was a pretty sweet day. Having done practically nothing but take it easy (to which there be a valid reason) there have been several good outcomes. First up I wanna talk about Doom 2. I noticed Doom 2 has been released on XBL. 800MSP too... I thought, I wont get that, but will download the trial to see if they've managed to sort out the rather naff controls from Doom 1. Sadly not, it's still a far cry from playing the PC counterparts.

Doom 2 has a rare ability/effect on me. It's the only game that I can think off that still scares the crap out of me. I've been playing Doom since I was at Primary School. I've played Doom 2 (my personal fav of the series to the n'th degree over and over again and I know the game pretty damn well; to the point that I know whats coming next, however, it will still scare the bejebers out of me)

However, back to the XBL version. There are 9 new maps in a BRAND NEW episode in all its pixely goodness.. 800MSP you say... I'm actually pretty stoked about the new content.... Doom 3 just didn't do it for me and I can only hope that Doom 4 hark backs to the old style form the 90's but I'm being optimistic... Hey, Megaman did it!!!

The Blog...

The last horse finally crosses the line and DJB has a blog! This blog should keep me amused over the summer and hopefully this thing wont fall by the wayside.

On this blog, expect to find mainly posts about all things guitar, music, video, computer games, random funny stuff from the net of the inter and more.

I shall try to post something new here every day just because I can... If I don't, its probably just because I'm lazy and too busy playing rock band or something haha...
